Your donations keep our doors open, paying either fully or partially for the majority of our client’s meals. As an independent, local organization, Fluvanna Meals on Wheels relies on contributions from the Fluvanna County community to support its home-delivered meals program.

We need your monetary support

• Adopt a client for a day, week, month or year
• Contribute to our annual appeal for contributions
• Include Fluvanna Meals on Wheels in your planned giving
• All but one of our clients are Social Service referrals and live well below the poverty line and are not in a position to pay for their meals.  The annual cost per year to provide meals is $23,400 which does not include other expenses such as food containers, office expenses and advertising for fund raising events.  Currently, we do not have any paid staff members and everyone volunteers their time to provide hot meals to our clients

We need your time

• Drive a route one day a week or one day a month
• Help pack meals one day a week or one day a month
• Work on one of our fund raising event committees
• Volunteer at one of our fund raising events
